Mumbaikars, keep your water stored! City to face water cut from Tuesday

The civic body announced a 10 per cent water cut across Mumbai from December 3 to December 9 due to major repairs at water filtration plant in Thane district. The BMC has therefore requested the residents to keep a day’s water stored to avoid inconvenience. It also stated that apart from the water cut there will also be low pressure in some areas.

At least 14 dead in Mexico gunbattle near Texas border

India conducted the first night trial of nuclear capable long-range ballistic missile Agni-III from the Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast on Saturday. The Strategic Forces Command of the Indian Army conducted the first night trial of the missile from launch pad-IV of the Integrated Test Range in Bhadrak district at 7.17 p.m., said defence sources. 9 people killed in plane crash in South Dakota, United States

Authorities say nine people have been killed after a plane crashed in South Dakota. Peter Knudson with the National Transportation Safety Board tells The Associated Press 12 people were aboard the Pilatus PC-12 when it crashed about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, shortly after taking off from Chamberlain, about 140 miles (225.3 kilometers) west of Sioux Falls. Knudson says nine people were killed and three were injured. The single-engine plane was bound for Idaho Falls, Idaho.
